Pokémon Form Usability Matrix

September 3, 2017 – last updated

Have you ever wondered which Pokémon forms can be used in which ways? Have you been working on a Living Pokédex and wanted to know which forms you actually can acquire? These matrices shows each way that a given form can be used or stored.

Go to:
Persistent Forms
Regional Variants
Jumbo Totem Size
Gender Differences
Ephemeral Forms
Mega Evolution

Persistent Forms Only

Battle Outside of Battle
Party PC Bank

All Pokémon forms on this list can be used in battle as well as kept within the party, in the PC, and in Pokémon Bank. This is intended for those building a Living Pokédex.

Spinda's spot patterns have just under 4.3 billion iterations, but not all of them are unique. Spinda will not be portrayed in this graph and only a single one should be required for a Living Pokédex.
